Dr. Paul Steinke, DPM, FACFAS
Let me tell you a little about myself. I am a proud Wisconsin native and proud Texas transplant who moved to North Texas to join Foot and Ankle Associates of North Texas (FAANT).
In 2011, I completed surgical residency specializing in Reconstructive Foot and Ankle Surgery in Madison, Wisconsin, after attending medical school in Illinois at the Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine and obtaining an undergraduate degree at Carroll University in Waukesha, Wisconsin.
During my residency, I served as Chief Resident and received specialized training in revision foot and ankle surgery, as well as extensive training on bunion deformity correction.
I am extremely passionate about Lapiplasty® 3D Bunion correction and my surgical practice is designated as an Elite Bunion Center for Lapiplasty® Bunion Correction by Treace Medical Concepts, the company who designs and manufactures this product.
My passion for this procedure, love of teaching and personal expertise with 3D Bunion Correction resulted in Treace Medical asking I join their surgeon faculty in 2020, and I continue in this position to help train new and established surgeons on introductory and advanced Lapiplasty® correction surgical techniques.
I am board certified in Reconstructive Rearfoot/Ankle Surgery as well as Foot Surgery by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery.
In my free time, I enjoy woodworking, skeet/sporting clay shooting, Jeeping, camping, running, smoking meats and most importantly spending time with his family.
I am blessed to have been married to the love of my life Carrie for 20 years and we have a fearless horse riding daughter and a baseball crushing son.
What drives me is my passion to further educate myself and my patients, administer you and your family the best possible care, and ultimately seeing you return to the activities that you love. I look forward to seeing you soon.
